NdYAG Laser De-Pigmentation Treatment for Age Spots/Sun Damage

Skin Pigmentation- NdYAG Lasers have proved to be effective in lightening and significantly fading the dark pigmentation spots and patches that come with over sun exposure and generally with age. Please note that a few treatments will often be necessary (normally 2-6), depending on the individual skin condition, to achieve optimum results and that Laser Pigmentation treatment is NOT suitable for darker Afro Caribbean or similar skin type 6. IMPORTANT-PLEASE NOTE

After the laser skin pigmentation treatment it is desirable to see a darkening of the treated pigmentation areas although this CANNOT be guaranteed. If the pigmentation has reacted favourably from the treatment then the pigmentation areas should become darkened virtually immediately. This should then form a light micro crust or light scab which should naturally fall off within about a week. Please do not pick or scratch the area or scarring may occur. Depending on your skins own sensitivity the area may be red, hot or swollen after the treatment. In some instances the treatment may cause hyper or hypo pigmentation although this is extremely rare. Please follow the aftercare guidelines extremely carefully. You will be required to sign a consent form before treatment commences so please make sure you fully understand the procedure.
